Sugar Tax must tackle inactivity

ukactive have responded to the 2016 budget and in particular George Osborne's announcement that a levy on sugar will get the next generation 'fit for the future', and welcomes the extra investment for children's activity programmes.

Responding to the announcement that the Primary PE and Sport Premium will have be doubled to £320m to spend from 2017, Executive Director Steven Ward said it was a chance to turn the tide on generation inactive.
