Building physical activity into public spaces

“The Coronavirus crisis has demonstrated the importance of public spaces such as schools, high streets and workplaces to our communities. These spaces allow local residents and communities to connect, grow and learn together – but many are still underutilised. There is an unmissable opportunity to rethink our nation’s public spaces to produce lasting behaviour change and better serve the needs of the community. This session will identify international best practice around using existing public spaces to support physical activity participation and collective wellbeing.”
