National Summit

For 2021, ukactive will be hosting the ukactive Conference.

About National Summit

ukactive’s National Summit is the leading policy event for the physical activity sector, drawing 700 decision makers and influencers from across public health, sport, business, and government — all of whom share ukactive’s commitment to getting more people, more active, more often. Previous speakers have included the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Professor Helen Stokes-Lampard, Chair of the National Academy for Social Prescribing, and Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill DBE, former Olympic track and field athlete for Great Britain.

2020’s digital event addressed the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed our communities and showcase the ways in which the physical activity sector can support the nation’s long-term health, resilience, and recovery from the virus. The event sought to provide clear recommendations to the Government around physical activity, prevention, and public health.
