We’re extremely passionate about supporting initiatives that inspire the nation to move more, and there’s no better celebration of physical activity than ukactive’s National Fitness Day.
The theme this year, ‘Powered by You’, couldn’t resonate more strongly with our mission. Personal training is ultimately about empowering individuals, helping people realise their potential, building confidence and showing them that they are capable of more than they think. Every rep, every session, every small change is powered by the individual.
National Fitness Day has become a highlight in the YOUR PT calendar. Last year, we went all in: PTs across our nationwide network offered over 1,000 complimentary taster sessions to the public. These sessions gave people the chance to experience first-hand the value of training with a professional, often sparking the first steps towards a long-term fitness journey.
We also supported our PTs with bespoke marketing assets, ensuring they could reach their local communities and maximise engagement. This resulted in a record-breaking level of participation and, most importantly, thousands of people moving more on the day.
For us, National Fitness Day isn’t just about one day in the diary. It’s about sparking momentum that can carry on long after. It’s a chance to try something new, break down barriers and discover the joy of movement. Often, it’s the push people need to take that first step towards a healthier lifestyle.
For PTs, National Fitness Day is a powerful platform to showcase their expertise, connect with potential clients and highlight the real value of personalised coaching.
It’s also a crucial opportunity to stand united, reminding the nation that fitness is for everyone and that health and wellbeing are essential, not optional.
In a time when wellbeing is more important than ever, National Fitness Day gives us a collective voice to inspire action.
This National Fitness Day, we’re aiming even higher. Once again, YOUR PT will be offering complimentary PT taster sessions nationwide, with a goal to exceed last year’s 1,000 sessions delivered. Every person who books will experience the motivation, support and expertise that a PT brings.
We’ll also be equipping our PTs with a fresh set of marketing assets to promote their sessions locally, ensuring that as many people as possible get the chance to take part.
At YOUR PT, we believe the role of a Personal Trainer is to empower. But it’s always the individual, their effort, their energy, their commitment that drives transformation. That’s why this year’s theme, ‘Powered by You’, feels so powerful.
