Are you a strategic leader with a passion for physical activity and public health? Do you have the influence, insight, and integrity to lead the UK’s most prominent voice in the physical activity sector?
We’re looking for a new Chair of the Board to help shape the future of ukactive – the not-for-profit membership body representing 3,500+ organisations from gyms and leisure centres to health innovators and national sports bodies.
👉 What you’ll do:
✔ Lead and inspire a skilled and committed Board
✔ Hold the Executive accountable for delivering a bold strategic vision
✔ Act as an ambassador to Government, partners, and the public
✔ Promote good governance and inclusion
👉 What you’ll bring:
✔ Board or executive-level leadership experience
✔ Political acumen and stakeholder influence
✔ Strong commercial acumen
✔ Passion for promoting active lifestyles and the benefits this brings to the nation’s physical, mental and social wellbeing
✔ A collaborative, ambassadorial mindset
💡 Experience in the health, sport or physical activity sector is a bonus – but not essential.
